“Hotel pickup was very punctual. Evros is an excellent driver. His English may not be the best, but he is a very nice man and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. In fact this was the best out of the three daytrips that we had booked. We were the first jeep (out of 21 jeeps doing this trip) at Avakas gorge so that meant we could beat the crowd and had the gorge pretty much to ourselves and could do it before it was too hot. We were very apprehensive about the cramped seating in the jeep, but actually 8 people were seated comfortably and with the windows down, we did…”

“How much you enjoy this trip is very dependent on which jeep and driver you get. On the day we went, our party of English tourists had a very old vehicle which made for a very rough ride, with inadequate safety belts for the 2 women in the back, and when a storm broke, it leaked quite seriously. The driver could speak English but did not have enough grasp of the language to tell us about the flora, fauna or geology of the region. His 'boss' was driving the other, newer, jeep with a party of French people and I did get the chance over lunch to find out some…”
